Command uns send errors

Hi !
I’ve tried to send uns to an other crypto account and I got the same errors while using address or publickey of the wallet :

$ uns send 1.0 SNRgEEUhv7Q5AGjEmnzdU98bw6Ge17ttLh --network sandbox
» :stop: Command fail because of unexpected value for at least one parameter (02124bce5a915c95641bf20b5ee504bebe895acb5e07da491648546a8fdb23ca23). Please check your parameters.;

$ uns send 1.0 02124bce5a915c95641bf20b5ee504bebe895acb5e07da491648546a8fdb23ca23 --network sandbox
» :stop: Command fail because of unexpected value for at least one parameter (SNRgEEUhv7Q5AGjEmnzdU98bw6Ge17ttLh). Please check your parameters.;

Here is the receiver crypto account :

{
“address”: “SNRgEEUhv7Q5AGjEmnzdU98bw6Ge17ttLh”,
“publicKey”: “02124bce5a915c95641bf20b5ee504bebe895acb5e07da491648546a8fdb23ca23”,
“privateKey”: “”,
“passphrase”: “”,
“network”: “sandbox”
}

I think I respect the doc : https://docs.uns.network/uns-use-the-network/cli.html#send

Thanks !

Guillaume told me to use --to parameters, so I tried that :

$ uns send 1.0 --to SNRgEEUhv7Q5AGjEmnzdU98bw6Ge17ttLh --network sandbox

Could you please update the doc ?

Could you fix the question

Do really want to send tokens to this wallet?:

  • “Do you really” and not “Do really”
  • The expected answer is not provided (yes or no ?)

You are right. Some CLI command parameters are being modified.
The new features are documented on the website but are not released yet. The --to syntax is correct for the current version, but will be replaced to reflect what is in the documentation as of now.

Yes, Guillaume told me.
I think it will better to keep --to parameter.
It’s like a functionnal approach : when you read the command line you know what it should do.
Exemple :

uns send 1.0 --to address --network sandbox
Then I read :
I send 1.0 to adress of network sandbox

But it’s not my call lol

Hi there!
As noticed by @rigwild the CLI documentation correspond to the future version. Sorry about that.
This change in command flags has been decided for global harmonization of all CLI commands which apply to a recipient. Thus in the next CLI version it will be possible to send UNS by giving @unikname or a wallet address in command argument. Like “uns send 10 @a_lasselle

The next CLI version will be published in the next weeks, so be patient, thank you!
